Lap Counting
We will use two QuidChrono tags (one on each of your foot) and all your lap splits will be available on a screen during the race and online after it. DJ Pocail will call off lap counts to runners many times during the race. This unique and custom-made QuidChrono timing system has been successfully tested last year at the first edition of the Montreal Indoor Marathon.
Marathon
The marathon will consist of 222 laps (190 meters tracks). Runners will change directions every 30 minutes (when each runner completes the lap that they are on he-she will simply run past the cone, turn and change direction; the process usually takes less than 2 minutes).
Half-marathon
The half-marathon will consist of 111 laps (190 meters tracks). Runners will change directions every 30 minutes (when each runner completes the lap that they are on he-she will simply run past the cone, turn and change direction; the process usually takes less than 2 minutes).
10K
The half-marathon will consist of 53 laps (190 meters tracks). Runners will change directions every 30 minutes (when each runner completes the lap that they are on he-she will simply run past the cone, turn and change direction; the process usually takes less than 2 minutes).
Aid stations
We offer more than 500 Aid Stations! There will be tables set up in each corners of the running track where you may place your fluid replacement bottles/enery packets, etc. You may stop and drink at a table or you may pick up your bottle and carry to any other table. Each runner will be responsible for bringing his/her own bottles, bananas, etc. We will provide water and sport drink.
Medals and awards
Each finisher will receive a unique medal (one different model per city of the series). Get a special award and a medal display rack if you complete one marathon in each city! The QuidChrono cup will be given to the most constant runners of the marathon series.
Post-race buffet
A post-race buffet will be served and include, among-other, migotés dishes using spices and recipes of Epicure Selections .
